Our TeamSteve W. Rietbergen (Principal) is a licensed Florida Broker who has over 23 years of experience in managing his own businesses in Europe and the United States of America. Steve was involved in the start up of the International Petroleum exchange in London, England and his company belonged to the top three Oil Broker firms with offices in London, Geneva, Singapore and New York. His international experience and foreign language skills provides him with the unique ability to deal with different nationalities in order to complete the deals. Robert W. Pockrandt (Principal) is a licensed Florida Broker who has over 43 years of business experience including start-up, management and ownership. Bob has been a principal in Southwest Florida Business Brokerages since 1993. He has consistently year after year marketed and sold a variety of business for many clients ranging from service, retail, manufacturing and more. He has trained many through his firm to also be successful business brokers. Bob has been an executive in a Fortune 500 company and his General Management and many years of hands-on experiences makes him a very knowledgeable resource for both Sellers and Buyers. Michael A. Omerzu (Broker Associate) is a licensed Florida Broker and Certified Florida Business Intermediary (CFBI) who has been practicing Business Brokerage since 1991 and is the former owner of his own National Franchise Business Brokerage offices in Port Charlotte / Sarasota and Fort Myers Florida. Michael is a 43 time National Award Winner. He has been a past State Florida Business Brokers Association Board member, past SW Florida Business Brokers Chapter officer and President. Michael has had a long term association with the International Business Brokers Association, the Business Brokers of Florida and other professional associations. He has participated in numerous International Visa sales including Million Dollar Visa’s, L-1 and E-2 Visa’s and has affiliates in Canada and the United Kingdom. David Winner (Broker Associate) is a licensed Florida Broker and holds an MBA from the University of Maryland. David has experience in both private capital and public corporations. He has negotiated numerous private capital buy/sells. Very strong financial analysis skills compliment his ability to find the best solutions to sometimes very complicated transactions. As an entrepreneur he owned a wholesale automotive importing firm and a facility maintenance company. David has 25 plus years of business experience including several start-ups along with multi-location acquisitions. He also headed up a multi-location liquidation of a former Fortune 500 Company Division. David has written two national franchise agreements for a large international corporation and has continued his work in the field of dealer franchised distribution. Rhondal Burns (Broker Associate) is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker who has held a broker’s license since 1989 and has been doing business brokering since 2000. Ron was a Florida CPA in public practice for over twenty years and has held a Florida Mortgage Broker license since September 2005, working with buyers and SBA qualified lenders. Ron’s accounting, taxation, financing, and business management experience serves both he and his clients in walking their way through the business sell/purchase transaction. Ron is a people person who enjoys and appreciates the opportunity to assist others in meeting their career and personal goals. Charbel Abinajem (Associate) excels in sales, customer service and management. He has over 30 years of experience with a proven track record as a business broker. Charbel graduated in Belgium with a degree in hotel restaurant management and has been an owner/operator of restaurants and video game routes with distribution in Belgium, France and Lebanon. He relocated to Chicago and became an owner/operator of a successful major oil company service station/carwash. Charbel’s international and stateside business experience gives him a keen understanding of problems and challenges of business owners and buyers from around the world. In 1986 Charbel joined a national franchise business brokerage in Chicago and in the mid 90”s he relocated to Fort Myers and has continued to be a local and national top10 sales award winner. Charbel speaks fluent French, Arabic and English. William R. Kamerer (Associate) is a licensed Florida Agent who has been brokering business sales and acquisitions since 1984 in Southwest Florida. Bill also has over 20 years of experience in Hotel and Restaurant Management with companies from coast to coast (including Connecticut, California, Missouri and Pennsylvania). Bill’s business brokerage and management experience since 1984 makes him very knowledgeable of the Southwest Florida business community. R.
